She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Lee and Elizabeth Ann Dawson (Kleski); and her son Richard Coy Mitchell. She is survived by: her husband Jack Lee Mitchell; her daughters, Christine Busby (Brady) and Deidra Mitchell (Andrew Greene); and her grandchildren, Audrey Busby (Todd Santoro) and Allison Busby.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Harrison County Dog Pound.
