She was predeceased by: her parents, Eino Filppi and Gladys Hadey Abbey Filppi. She is survived by: her husband Ralph "Don" Donald Schmidt; her children, Lori Parker, Michael Schmidt, Susane Occhipinti, Jon Schmidt, Andrea Voight and Tara Campbell; and her brother David Filppi. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.
