He was predeceased by: his parents, Ulysses Sartor and Sally Booker Sartor; and his siblings, John "Skeeter" Sartor of South Carolina, Willie Sartor of South Carolina, Florence Sartor of South Carolina, Virginia Ruth Sartor-Hunter of South Carolina and Viola Sartor-Stevens of South Carolina.
He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Erin Lopez and Laurel Galvin; his grandsons, Bryan Pienta, Manuel Gonzalez III, Servacio Lopez and Leland Lopez; and his sister Elbethea Sartor-Harper of Spartanburg. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
