He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Johnson and Greta Todd Johnson; his wife Margaret "Biddy" Mattern Johnson; and his brothers, Clark, Robert and Alfred Johnson.
He is survived by: his son Douglas Johnson of Cadiz, Ohio; his grandsons, Darren Johnson (Angie) of Cadiz and Eric Johnson of Ooltewah, Tennessee; and his great grandchildren, Kobey Johnson of Scio, Logan Johson of Cadiz, Ian Saho of Wintersville, Cade Johnson of Nashville, Kendall Johnson of Rochester and Quinn Johnson of Ooltewah, Tennessee..
