He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis W. Beckert and Emma Virginia Chapman Beckert; his wife Nancy Finnical Beckert of Finnical's Pharmacy; and his brother James David Beckert. He is survived by: his children, Richard Dennis Beckert of Lake Stevens, Washington and Deborah Anne McDonough of Celina, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Richard Nathaniel Beckert, Lauren Nicole McDonough Bowsher (Luke), Ryan David McDonough and Benjamin Robert McDonough.
