She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Nelms and Martha Vasbinder Nelms; her husband Richard D. Bethel Sr.; her son-in-law Jack Edwards; and her siblings, Thomas Nelms and Jackie Nelms.
She is survived by: her children, Richard "Rick" D. Bethel Jr. (Martha), Judy Bethel (Robert), Causby Sr., Donald R. Bethel (Renee), Debbie Bethel Edwards and Shelly Bethel Gatts (Doug); her grandchildren, Charles Joseph Wurchum, Erin Manville, Robert J. Causby Jr., Jacob Bethel, Mercedez Raine, Danielle Porter, Adam Bethel, Jaycie Gatts, Kasey Bethel, Jarret Causby, Tori Edwards, Noah Edwards and Isaac Edwards; and her siblings, Cliff Nelms, Doris Nelms and Martha Murral (Marti). She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
