She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry "Hank" Straub and Ruth Fuller Straub; her brother Henry Straub; her significant other Dick Barnhart; and her pet Cocoa.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Ashley Allan of Wintersville and Caliegh Spano of Cadiz; her great grandchild Ember Jean Livengood; her son Chad Spano of Cadiz; and her grandson Tyler Spano.
She then ran the family business, The Meadowlark Inn until it closed because of Covid.
