She was predeceased by: her parents, Tony Celestino and Retta Moore Celestino; her husband Lewis Stanley Sedgmer; her sisters, Geneva Hooker, Doris Durbin and Betty Sanders; and her stepfather John DeWalt.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Sedgmer, Patty Tate (Anthony), Lewis W. Sedgmer and Robert Allen Sedgmer (Mary Beth); and her siblings, Lila Bates, Maxine Bates and Anthony DeWalt (Gail). She is also survived by six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
