With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alvin F. Maxwell of Cadiz, Ohio, who passed away on October 4, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Maxwell and Cleoda McKinney Maxwell Bennett; his stepfather Cecil Bennett; and his siblings, James L. Maxwell, Roy E. Maxwell, Vernon Maxwell, Mark Maxwell and Ellenora Norris.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Duncan Maxwell; his children, Rebecca Barr of Cadiz, Brenda Luther (William) of Cadiz, Cindy Zende (Tom) of Cadiz, Alvin "Bud" Maxwell, Jr. of Cadiz and John Maxwell of Cadiz; his stepchildren, Kirt Warren of Lafayette, Indiana and Rachel Whitaker of Lafayette, Indiana; and his siblings, Kenneth Maxwell (Rose) of Cadiz, Ralph Maxwell of Scio, Ronald Maxwell of Cadiz, Shirley Berdine of Wellsville and Norma Jean Conley of Scio. He is also survived by 17 Grandchildren; 21 Great Grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
