With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Albert Leroy Mattern of Cadiz, Ohio, who passed away on July 6, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert H. Mattern and Mary Jackovich Mattern. He is survived by: his siblings, John Mattern (Patricia), Ann Young (Alvin) and Helen Barnhart (Ron); his brother-in-law Larry Ward; his wife Betty Blake Mattern of Cadiz; his son Glenn Mattern (Tracy) of Hopedale; his grandchildren, Hannah, Jacob and Andrew Mattern; and his sister Laura Ward of Hopedale. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
