He is survived by: his sons, Brandon Thornhill (Julia) and Joseph "Joey" Thornhill (Lorissa); his grandson Blake Thornhill; his siblings, Teddy Gillenwater, Burrell Thornhill, Jim Thornhill (Teresa), Vencil Thornhill (Lorrie) and Terry Thornhill; his girlfriend Kathy Murry; and his close friend Jim Bowers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
