We are sad to announce that on May 5, 2023, at the age of 89, James E Burden of Cable, Ohio, born in Dayton, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Burden; his children, Bonita Wood, Vickie Jessup, Eugene Burden, Jimmie and Ronnie Dale Burden; his siblings, Joyce, Lois, Betty and Dicky; his grandchildren, Scott Byrd and Nikki Souders; and his sons-in-law, Gary Byrd, Ed Wells, Grey Jessup and Jack Logsdon.

He is survived by: his children, Darlene Byrd Jackson, Sherrie Logsdon-Boutell (Rich), Christina Wells, Patty Burden and Jaimey Burden; and his siblings, Deloris Atchison, Suzie Niemeyer (Michael), Mikey Burden (Beverly), Donnie Burden (Teiga), Bill Burden, Ray Burden (Robin) and Stevie Burden (Seogsuk). He is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to Vernon Funeral Homes, in care of the family.
