He is survived by: his father Harold McConkey of Cambridge; his children, Jared Finton of Byesville, Richard McConkey Jr. of Byesville, Riley McConkey of Byesville, Caila McConkey of Cambridge and Emily McConkey of New Concord; his siblings, Steven McConkey (Kim) of Byesville and Angela Stephens (Dennis) of Byesville; and the mothers of children, Laura McConkey of Byesville and Michelle Claggett of New Concord. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
