It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Paul Alan Gray (Byesville, Ohio), who passed away on February 23, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid Paul farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Paul is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Gray and Marjorie Gray (Hallock); and his wife Patricia Ann "Patty" Gray (McCullough). He is survived by: his daughters, Paula Ann Gray and Mary Katherine White (Chris); and his siblings, Karen Williams and David Gray (Darlene). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and fur babies.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Black-Epperson Funeral Home (231 Main St, Byesville, OH 43723). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
As an expression of sympathy, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Paul's name to one of the following organizations: 1) Guernsey County Habitat for Humanity, PO Box 1424, Cambridge OH 43725; or 2) Hospice of Guernsey Inc., PO Box 1165, Cambridge OH 43725.
