He was predeceased by: his parents, J. W. Ray and Karen Ray (McCleese). He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Ray (Diss) of Byesville; his son Derick Ray (Hope) of Antrim; his siblings, Jerald Ray of Ironton, Lori Dilley of Zanesville, Teresa Lucas (John) of Cambridge, Nicole Cramer (AJ) of Zanesville and Lisa Ray Hockenberry of Cambridge; his granddaughter Payton Ray; and his close friends, Steve Deel and Doug Bishard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
