In the vast expanse of eternity, Helen shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Helen farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Cox and Mary Hazel Cox (Edwards); and her husband Paul McCollum. She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Olmstead (Steve) of Tennessee; and her daughters-in-law, Mary Ann McCollum of Byesville and Melinda McCollum of Byesville. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Black-Epperson Funeral Home (231 Main St, Byesville, OH 43723). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
As an expression of sympathy, the family suggests that memorial contributions in Helen's name be made to the Byesville Main Avenue Methodist Church, 223 Main Street, Byesville OH 43723.
