She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Morris and Maude Morris (Akison); her former husband William "Ben" Thompson; her husband James Ayers; her siblings, Robert, Jimmy, Bill Morris, Linda Huffstutler and Mildred Dailey; her son Gary E. Thompson; and her son-in-law John A. Berger Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Bill Thompson of Cambridge, Ken Thompson (Rebecca) of Byesville, Barbara Allen of Cambridge and Brenda Berger of Cambridge. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, and forty-two great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Thorn-Black Funeral Home Inc. (139 S 9th St, Cambridge, OH 43725). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
