She was predeceased by: her parents, William Miller and Mabel Miller (Keith); and her siblings, John Miller and Mary Belle Miller. She is survived by: her children, Walter Lee Chalfant of Byesville, William Ray Chalfant of Byesville and Patricia Chalfant of Zanesville; and her pet Taffy. She is also survived by five granddaughters and one grandson; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
