It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chris David Channell of Byesville, Ohio, born in Cambridge, Ohio, who passed away on October 24, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean Channell and Helen Channell Ridgway (Dement); his sister Lori Kuhnash; his parents-in-law, Andy and Emily Golmitz; and his sisters-in-law, Marlene Hayes and Marilyn Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Channell (Golmitz); his children, Eric Channell (Callie) of Sagamore Hills and Heidi Hannum (Mike) of Buffalo; his brother-in-law Greg Kuhnash of Lore City; his grandchildren, Ali McElroy (Adam), Keely Edwards (Josh), Riley Rayner (Kolby), Crosby Channell and Silas Channell; his great grandchildren, Cohen McElroy, Brinley McElroy, Nash McElroy, Decker McElroy and Slater Edwards; and his pet Sophie. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
