It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Vallen of Byesville, Ohio, who passed away on December 9, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Denver McQuain and Mary E. McQuain (Butcher); and her daughter Kris Shaw. She is survived by: her daughters, Michelle Graves of Byesville, Teresa Cheeseman of Byesville and Elizabeth Higgins (Gregory) of Belle Valley; her stepsons, James Vallen (Jenna) of Cambridge and Ryan Vallen of Canton; her brothers, Raymond McQuain (Mary), James "Jimmie" McQuain (Lois), Harold McQuain (Barb) and Ward McQuain; and her grandchildren, Denver, Katherine, Michael, Kristine, Nicholas, Patrick, Seirra, Homer, Samantha, Gregory, Joey, Timmy, Chy, Dakota, Lliyah and Austin. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
