He is survived by: his children, Matt Lybarger, Mike Lybarger (Theresa), Mark Lybarger (Nancy) and Lori Grubaugh (Bill Purdy); and his sister Dorothy Matheny (Gene). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren.
