He was predeceased by: his parents, Omer Seals and Shirley A. Seals (Hardison); his stepfather Charles Bates; his son Joshua Dwayne Seals; and his siblings, Calvin Seals, Jennifer Hutchison, Mike Seals and Debra Starling.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl L. Seals (Crider); his children, Lanny Seals Jr. of Butler and Shannon Fowler (Edward) of Butler; his grandchildren, Levi Fowler, Kaleb Fowler, Paige Fowler and Baylee Fowler; and his siblings, Sherrie Sullivan, Pamela Futrell and Danny Seals. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
