It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Edwin Gleason of Butler, Ohio, born in Fredericktown, Ohio, who passed away on April 27, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hal B. Gleason and Careta S Gleason (Watson); his grandson Landyn Gleason; his siblings, Chuck (Jean), Jean (Jerrry Zeller), Bill Gleason, Jim (Joyce Gleason) and Stan (Dani Gleason); his siblings-in-law, Clifford Yarger, Jerry Brokaw, Patricia Gleason and Diane Gleason; and his nephews, Philip and Michael Gleason.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Gleason (Yeager); his sons, John D. Gleason (Amy) of Mount Vernon and Gregg A Gleason (Dana) of Butler; his grandchildren, Jauni Gleason (JD Orr), Noah Gleason, Owynn Gleason, Jurnie Gleason, Taylor Gleason (Jesse Strickler), Kirsten Turek (Chris), David Gleason and Allie Gleason; his great grandchildren, Dekker, Aisley Orr, Callahan and Parker Turek; his siblings, Thomas Gleason of Bonita Springs, Charlene Yarger of Palmetto and Halene Decker (Roger) of Norwalk; and his sister-in-law Ruth Gleason of Burbank. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews other than his parents.
