He was predeceased by: his father Windsor DeWitt; his wife Jeanne Whitmer (Cotter); and his sons, Patrick and Jack Whitmer. He is survived by: his children, Rex (Barbara), Rick (Debbie) and Robin Hawk (Scott); his grandchildren, Brian, Jesse, Rachel, Ileah, Brandon and Josh; and his great grandchildren, Matilda, Jude, Aubrie, Conor, Ethan, Aden, Anika and Kayla. He is also survived by his extended family & many good friends.
