He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Marvin and Persis Louise Grewell (Alspaugh); and his brother Gerome Grewell. He is survived by: his wife Linda (Goldschmidt); his children, Jennifer McMahan (Jason) and Gerald W. Grewell, II (Tanya); and his grandchildren, Jessica, Shayla, Jakob, Jarrett, Joshua, Grayson, Jason, Lily McMahan, Calvin and Robert Grewell. He is also survived by many other relatives & friends.
