He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Brooks and Mildred Brooks (Nichols); and his stepfather Oren Harter. He is survived by: his wife Rosalie Brooks of Butler; his daughters, Debra Cooper (Dan) of Bellville and Tamara Brooks Workman of Lexington; and his grandchildren, Zachary Cooper, Seth Workman and Olivia Workman.
