She is survived by: her children, Eric Smith and Shelia Smith; her grandchildren, Aubrey McAlister (Doug), Warren Smith and Nathan; her great grandchildren, Anthony, Yasmin, Nadia Brown, Walter and Dorothy McAlister; her brother Kenneth Tharp (Ann); and her siblings-in-law, Dick Vail and Barbie Tharp.
