She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Blakley Meriweather (Nick) and Georgia Meriweather (Mize); her husband Henry Bruewer (Jack); and her siblings, Fred Meriweather (Bus), Hazel Brunner (Meriweather) and Thomas Meriweather.
She is survived by: her children, John (Pollie), Ann (John Schmitt), Susan (Mike Locke) and Thomas (Amy); her grandchildren, James Bruewer, Elizabeth Walsh (Schmitt), Katherine Schmitt (Katie), Michelle Bruewer, Grace Locke, Claire Steinmetz (Speirs), Benjamin Locke and David Bruewer; and her great grandchildren, John Walsh (Jack), Brenna Walsh, Nicholas Bruewer, Henry Bruewer and Norah Steinmetz. She is also survived by four children, eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Fairfield, Ohio or to the "Team Western Kentucky Tornado Relief Fund.".
