He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Hollis and Charles Hollis; and his brothers, Bill and Charles (Ida). He is survived by: his children, Beverly Dabbelt (Richard), Carl Crawford (Sharon), Michael Hollis (Keith Yocum) and Patricia Deal (Duane); his grandchildren, Jim, Bob Dabbelt, Aaron Deal (Jennifer), Amber Thomas (Tim) and Stephanie Schultz; and his great grandchildren, Jenna, Alanna, Eli, Jessica Deal, Abbey, Andy, Anna Thomas, Cody and Connor Schultz.
