He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl and Olga; his daughter Elizabeth Strmen; and his sister Christine Strmen. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his sons, Gary Moneysmith (Nicole) of Chicago and Steve Strmen (Julie) of Troy Twp; and his grandchildren, Wesley, Matthew, Laurel, Isabella, Andrew, Ella, Ava, Lila, Chase and Vinny.
