He was predeceased by : his father William Bernard. He is survived by : his mother Diana Jean Garrett (Kocka); his children, Joshua Garrett (Whitney Miller) and Taylor Garrett (Peter Herbener); and his siblings, Jodi Protsik (David), Dawn Politzer (Thomas), Kimberly Medina (Michael) and Brian Garrett (Sarah). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
