With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert A. Hemmelgarn of Burkettsville, Ohio, who passed away on January 23, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry D. Hemmelgarn and Martha A. Hemmelgarn (Weitzel); his son Donald Hemmelgarn; his grandson Eric Rutschilling; his parents-in-law, William and Olivia Miller; and his in-laws, Betty Osterholt, Kathy Hemmelgarn, Gerald Miller, Richard, Viola Miller, Mary Ann Miller of Ft. Wayne, James Wilder, James Miller and Mark Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Hemmelgarn (Miller); his children, David (Julie Hemmelgarn), Deborah (Jack Rutschilling), Dwayne (Ann Hemmelgarn), Douglas (Shelly Hemmelgarn) and Daniel (Jesica Hemmelgarn); and his grandchildren, Jason, Josh, Megan, Taylor, Jeff, Andy, Nikki, Kristen, Nathan, Collin, Olivia, Lauren, Lydia, Abby, Sara and Luke. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren.
