He is survived by: his spouses, Lynn Turpin and Lynn Bender; his children, Eric Bender of Fremont, OH, Andrea Williams (Stuart) of Tiffin, OH, Shannon Fellers-Franks (Nick) of Tiffin, OH, Sheena King (Joe) of Tiffin, OH and Adam Fellers of Tiffin, OH; and his brothers, Mike Bender of Burgoon, OH and Greg Bender (Carol) of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
