She was predeceased by: her parents, Boyd Sampson and Princess Tiny Burks; her daughters, Rita Overbee and Brenda Turpin; and her grandson Robert Overbee.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Turpin; her children, Robert Turpin, Jr. of Burgoon, Kenneth Turpin (Ruby) of Clyde, Brian Turpin of Fostoria, Lisa Turpin of Traphill and Julie Hutchinson (Jeremy) of Rising Sun; and her siblings, Estel Burks (Patricia) of Winnabow, Elisa Sizemore (Julian) of West Virginia and Mabel Dewhurst (Todd) of Paisley. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
