It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Harper of Burghill, Ohio, who passed away on July 14, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Harper and Artie Ketterman Harper; his son James Harper; and his stepchildren, Terri Mennor and James Fell.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Mattock Harper; his daughter Anita Hanick of Champion; and his stepchildren, Ruthanne Phillips (Bob) of Fowler, Laura Smith of Brookfield, Carole Fedorchak (Chris) of Lima, Lyle Fell, Jr. of Burghill and William Fell of Burghill. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
