He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Romans and Edna Romans; his brother Alan Romans; his brother-in-law Dan Juba; his son-in-law Buddy Brune; and his sons, Roy Taylor and Ray Taylor.
He is survived by: his children, Tom Romans (Debbie) of Elyria, Michael Romans (Andrea) of LaGrange, Tina Brune of Niles, Rose Pelfrey (Charles Nance) of Huntington, WV and Richard Taylor (Jen) of Newberry; his grandchildren, Mandy, Jewel, Logan, Jordan, Michael, Zaidon, Nick, Larissa, Bobby, Jasmine, Colt, Roy II, Savannah, Isabella and Richard II; his great grandchildren, Angelica, Sophia, Anthony, Alex, Little Rodney, Scott, Abriella, Alanna and Kingsley; his siblings, Sue Linville (Dave) of Ashland, Ron Romans (Fran) of Burbank, Jim Romans of Westlake and Freda Juba (Randy Bell) of Olmsted Falls; and his friends, Karl Hager (Kathy) and Gary Thomas.
