She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Shuey and Ruth Shuey (Kreager); her former husband Virgil Bates; her husband Don Hinkle; her children, Sharon Vaughn and Edwin; and her siblings, Leila Bates, Harold, Raymond, Robert, Herbert, Ernest, Kenneth and Edgar.
She is survived by: her daughter Ginny Bates; her granddaughter Heather Giezen (Zachary); and her great grandchildren, Isabelle, Xander, Alex and Max.
