He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Dale and Carolynne Flory Edwards (Lance); and his stepfather William Edwards. He is survived by: his children, Taulbee Flory (Taylor) and Kari Kamphuis (Tom); his grandchildren, Abby Eiffes (Andre), Jillian Johnson (Orion) and Layne Flory; his siblings, Bobbi Newburry (James), Paul Flory (Linda) and Josie Sampsel (Brian); and his stepbrother Chuck Edwards.
