With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edith Burgess of Burbank, Ohio, born in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on July 15, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Bratcher and Martha Sylvia Bratcher (Butler); and her siblings, William, Sonny, Clem, Robert Earl and Delphia Bratcher Adkins.

She is survived by: her husband John Tony Burgess; her sons, Robert Tony Burgess of Cedar Rapids, IA, Kevin Dwayne Burgess and Terry Allen Burgess (Delaine) of Wooster; her grandchildren, Bobby, Christine and Jessica; and her great grandchildren, Scarlett and Madison. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
