He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Sayre and Sylvia Sayre (Brown); his siblings, Joan Daugherty, Urlin and Robert; his nephew Eugene (Judy Sayre); and his close friend Priscilla Norton.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Becki Parachek of Temperance, MI, Sandi, Julie Craycraft (Jerry) of Gove City, Joe Sayre (Maggie) of Wadsworth, Gary Daugherty (Robin) of Burbank, Bruce Daugherty (Marcia) of Wooster and Rick Daugherty (Bette) of Bowerston; and his brother-in-law Lavon Daugherty of Sugarcreek.
