Though Katherine may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Scott Dozier and Lillian Gertrude Williams Edmunds; and her husband Earl Eugene Nester. She is survived by: her children, Patricia Ann Grose (Richard) of Elk View, WV, Drema Darlene Lovejoy (Fred) of St. Albans, WV, Michael Eugene Nester (Susan) of Buffalo, Robert Vernon Nester (Hellen) of Puyallop, WA and Pamela Donita Blackstone (Brad) of Uhrichsville. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Black-Epperson Funeral Home (231 Main St, Byesville, OH 43723). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Floral Hills Garden of Memories (6839 Sissonville Dr, Charleston, WV 25320).
