She was predeceased by: her parents, John Basalla and Elizabeth Basalla (Almasie); and her husband Joseph Sekel. She is survived by: her siblings, Elizabeth, Michael, Andrew, Joseph, John, George, Samuel, William Basalla, Margaret Gibson, Anne Yousko, Mary Goodrich, Helen Vahala and Alice Stropki; her children, Joseph Sekel (Cheryl) of Austin, TX, Beth Stillwell (Kenton) of Zanesville, Mary Katrina Cornely (Joseph) of Geneva, Cindy Lucas (Randy) of Buffalo and Stephanie Neuhart (Brent) of Senecaville; her grandchildren, Joey, Haley Sekel, Kyle Osentoski-Stillwell (Aaron), Jessica Vadlamudi (Srikanth), Allison Stillwell, Shane, Ethan Lucas, Cole and Layne Neuhart; her great grandchildren, Arjun and Kiran Vadlamudi; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Choma of Pensacola, FL, Dorothy Basalla of Lakewood and Mary Basalla of Pleasant City. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many special friends.
Friends and family are welcome, but due to COVID-19 please take all necessary precautions to ensure your own safety and everyone else's should you decide to attend the visitation hours and/or the funeral service.
