She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Lashley and Mina Lashley (Sharrer); and her brother Joseph Lashley. She is survived by: her husband Larry Bates; her daughters, Samantha Loy of Cambridge, Rachel Stepler of Buffalo and Amanda; her sister Marsha; and her grandchildren, Tesla Burt of Cambridge, Dalton Loy of Cambridge and Isaiah. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and many special nieces & nephews.
