He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard W. Harter and Barbara Ann Harter (Ehrhart); and his brother Rick. He is survived by: his daughter Rikki Barton (Chris); his granddaughter Lucy Barton; his nephews, Steven F. Harter (Mary) and Ian Harter (Krystal); and his cousins, Tim Musselman and Connie Harter.
