She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Kurtz and Marie Kurtz (Caskey); her husband Edwin R. Shumaker; her daughter Beth Shumaker; and her brothers, Sam (Beverlee) and Ron Kurtz (Eileen).
She is survived by: her son Larry Shumaker (Mary) of Canal Winchester; her grandchildren, Jodie Robinson (Jason) of Pickerington and John Shumaker (Courtney) of Akron; and her great grandchildren, Joel and Jonas Robinson.
