He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Eugene Young and Juanita Rose Knieriemen Young (Charleston); his son Adam Young; his siblings, Norman Young, Michael Young and Roberta "Bobbie Jo" Fox; and his mother-in-law Gertrude Rumer.
He is survived by: his wife Christy; his daughters, Shayla Young and Alexis Young (Jacob Bowman); his grandchildren, Aaliyah of Bucyrus, Damien of Bucyrus, Ivan of Bucyrus, Elliott of Bucyrus, Rowland of Bucyrus and Avery of Bucyrus; his siblings, Vicki Webb of Bucyrus, Cheryl Campbell (Tom) of Upper Sandusky, Gloria Pelfrey (Roger) of Bucyrus, Robert Young (Lori) of Marion, Jeffrey Young (Kathy) of Marion, W. Scott Young (Joshlyn) of Marion, Linda Smith of Marion, Brenda Sue Rodgers of Marion and Helen Farrell of Findlay; his father-in-law Lawrence Rumer of Bucyrus; and his brothers-in-law, Thomas Rumer of Bucyrus and Mark Rumer (Erica) of Attica. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bucyrus Church of God (1304 Woodlawn Ave, Bucyrus, OH 44820). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
If desired, donations can be made payable to the Wise Funeral Service to help offset any expenses and these gifts will be accepted through the funeral home or at church on day of services.
