We bid farewell to James S. Ruttmann of Bucyrus, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 20, 2025 at the age of 67. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Schuyler Sydney and Mary Elaine Ruttmann (Amacher); and his daughter Danielle Higginbotham. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Sue (Belcher); his children, Sydney Ruttmann (Jim Redmon), Scott Ruttmann (Jewel) and Samatha Ruttmann; his grandchildren, Gabe, Brody Higginbotham, Elliot Shellhorn and Schuyler Ruttmann; and his sisters, Janice Gasser (Mike) and Julie Raines. He is also survived by his family and caring for animals.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wise Funeral Service (129 W Warren St, Bucyrus, OH 44820). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:55 AM at the Oakwood Cemetery (835 Kaler Ave, Bucyrus, OH 44820). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wise Funeral Service (129 W Warren St, Bucyrus, OH 44820).
