It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James L. Oberlander of Bucyrus, Ohio, who passed away on July 4, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford L. Oberlander and Elfreda J. Oberlander (Knipp); and his brother Charles Oberlander. He is survived by: his wife Susan J. Rehm; his children, Kelly Heinlen (Steve) and Scott Oberlander; his grandchildren, Kylie Rebon (Matt), Kyle Dennison (Peyton), Jackie Plott (Sam), Bryden Oberlander (Pash) and Alexa Oberlander; his great grandchildren, Riley, Blake, Kannon and Luke; his sister Donna Naufzinger Welsh; and his sister-in-law Mary Jo Oberlander. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
