Hans Scherner Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 10, 2024, at the age of 82, Hans Scherner of Bucyrus, Ohio passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Hans Scherner to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hans Scherner and Martha Scherner (Korn, family: America); his son Michael Scherner; his sister Martha Lierhaus (Lepke); and his brothers-in-law, Fritz Lierhaus, Arno Lepke and Hans Zenner.
He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Benjamin Scherner (Jodi), Jonathan Scherner (Karen) and Rachel Steffen (Nick); his daughter-in-law Kristy Scherner; his grandchildren, Saxen, Anson Scherner, Nick, Natalie, Megan, Jack, Olivia Scherner, Claire, Grant Scherner, Elisabeth, Louisa and Theo Steffen; his sisters, Waltraud "Wally" Dummermuth (Ernst "Ernie") and Marianne Zenner; and his nephew Paul Lierhaus. He is also survived by brother; as well as many nieces and nephews.
If desired, donations can be made payable to St. Paul Lutheran Church or to the Parkinson's Foundation and these gifts will be accepted through the funeral home or at the church on day of services.
