She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Ray, Carolyn Hurst, Harold Thomas and Beulah Katherine VanScoder; and her siblings, James, Phillip, Bobbie Jo and Emily Laub.
She is survived by: her parents, Patricia Stone of Bucyrus and John VanScoder Sr. (Carissa) of Upper Sandusky; her children, Paris VanScoder of Marion and Izaiah McClain of Columbus; and her siblings, Kathy Akers (Alycia Skidmore) of Carey, Tommy VanScoder (Stephanie) of Bucyrus, Jessica VanScoder of Bloomville, John VanScoder Jr. of Bucyrus, Sarah Skidmore of Mansfield and Larry Akers of Marion. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Tommy's House (811 Woodlawn Ave, Bucyrus, OH 44820).
